Questions we have to ask

  1. What wedding processional songs (in and out) do we want? Traditional or modern? THOUGHTS: Traditional wedding processional in-modern processional song out.
  2.  Do I want a double parent escort? Just my Dad?
  3. Wording on the ceremony? THOUGHTS: We're having a civil ceremony-I think I want to use as long as we both shall live-more positive. Do we want to write our own vows?
  4. For the groomsmen, vests and ties, vests, or cumberbunds? THOUGHTS: I think I have ruled out cummerbunds because they're too formal.  The girls are going to be in tea length because its on a boat and it will be summer and putting the men in cummerbunds is too formal. I'm thinking groomsmen in vests and Adam in a vest and tie.
  5. Do we want a DJ or our own iPod mix?
  6. Do we want just flower arrangements on the table or other decorations-chairs etc?
These are early on questions, this will be ongoing as we think of them. Just so when it comes time to make those decisions we have our thoughts laid out.

  1. I like the double parent escort myself but what do your parents think of that? You know your dad is SUPPOSED to walk you down the isle and your mom walks with Adam and his mom at the beginning of the ceremony if you want traditional, but both your parents walking you is cute i.m.o.

  2. oh and iPod mix is cheaper and more personal, but dj has and helps with the mic for speeches. But the tap a glass and stand up speech is ALWAYS the best, more personal, but less people can hear it. So practice it at rehearsal with a diff type of speech to see if you can be heard all over the venue.

  4. lol, don't worry I don't see myself being a bridezilla mostly because Adam keeps me calm! Also, that is why we're working this out now.

I like the idea of the double parent escort too as well as the iPod, that is mostly going to come down to $ more than anything I think.
